The morning of August 16th, 2024 at 9AM a routine morning walk on the Schenley Oval by CMU turns into a targeted hate crime for Gary Zal originally from Ukraine and for Zoltan Jakab Originally from Eastern Europe…

In the following the images documenting the incident and those involved took place after the harassment occurred, it was not captured as it occurred…

While walking around the oval, several school administrators bunch up together with highschool soccer players blocking the path on the running track.  One school teacher was wearing a shirt that had that DICE written on it, which presumably stands for Alderdice Highschool in Squirrel Hill Pittsburgh PA USA…

The school teacher positions his crossed arms to cover up everything except the letters “ICE” on his shirt while blocking the path of Gary Zal and Zoltan Jakab walking around the oval, both from Eastern Europe originally…

In addition while Gary and Zoltan walk towards the teacher group, several kids on the sidelines seemed to have been notified to take part, as they began laughing and kicking the soccer ball purposefully towards Gary Zal and Zoltan Jakab surrounding them and alarming them and hackling them in a way that suggested prior planning and being by coordination…

As Gary Zal and Zoltan Jakab continue their walk despite, ignoring these purposeful targetings, now quite a bit rattled by what just occurred and scared, they walk into the group of administrators and teachers blocking the path, grinning.  The teacher facing Gary Zal and Zoltan Jakab having his arms crossed in a way to only have the letters “ICE” showing on his shirt, blocking the path and grinning at them intending to convey the message “ICE” which is an immigration term often referring to deportation of unwanted foreigners…

Gary Zal and Zoltan Jakab from Eastern Europe continued their walk as they have experienced many years of this type of hate crime directed at them in the Greater Pittsburgh PA USA area.  On the next several loops around at the same spot where the group of children were standing, the children began giggling and reacting negatively to Gary Zal and Zoltan Jakab.  By this time the teachers have trained the entire group of soccer students from Alderdice Highschool to openly target and harass people from Eastern Europe openly and publicly on the Schenley Oval by Carnegie Mellon University…
